Building Physical Resiliency
We focus on providing physical therapy services to anyone who needs to build their physical resiliency in order to optimize their movement and function. Physical resiliency is the capacity to recover quickly from an injury or illness. Everyone requires this ability, but it is especially important for people with chronic medical conditions or acute injuries, where a loss of function means not being able to live independently at home or making work difficult.
Compassion, Flexibility & Understanding
We bring to physical therapy an understanding and compassion for those with chronic conditions and acute injuries. We appreciate that there are ups and downs, flare ups and stable periods- so whether you have an acute condition requiring rehabilitation, or are in need of wellness services to build your resiliency, we are here to help.
We are aware that not everyone can drive or get a ride to therapy appointments, which is why we have a hybrid model where you can choose to visit our Scarborough clinic or we can travel to your home or location of choice in the Greater Portland area.
Continuity and Integration of Your Healthcare
From traditional rehabilitation to our wellness programs, we also find that continuity is key to managing your functional health status over time. Instead of receiving care from various providers, we want to develop relationships that will last a lifetime, where we are there when you need us. Physical functioning is an often overlooked aspect within our healthcare system. However, it has been found to be a major determinant in a person’s ability to stay in their own homes as they age. Just as you have a primary care physician to monitor your body’s internal functioning, our goal is to partner with your physician and help you manage your physical functioning, providing appropriate intervention and rehabilitation when needed.
